FAQ on vector EPS LOGOS FILES
WHAT IS AN EPS FILE?
EPS stands for encapsulated PostScript. It is a versatile vector format, in which instead of saving the image pixel by pixel (raster bitmaps e.g. jpg and gif files), it saves it as lines and curves. Thus the logos provided in this format are infinitely scalable without loss of quality. EPS files can be generated by all drawing applications as well as most layout applications. Image manipulation programs like Adobe® Photoshop® can also save bitmap images as EPS-files. Some printer drivers are also capable of generating EPS-files as well as PostScript files.

WHAT COMPUTER PROGRAMS DO THE EPS LOGO FILES WORK WITH?
All commercial drawing and desktop publishing programs, such as CorelDRAW®, Adobe® Illustrator®, QuarkXPress™, Deneba Canvas™, Adobe® PageMaker®, Macromedia FreeHand, can edit these logos. Also if your software can import EPS files (*.eps) for example Adobe® Photoshop®. Finally they can be used in most vinyl cutting software like SignLab and SignMate.

WINDOWS OR MACINTOSH?
EPS files will work on both Windows and Macintosh computers.

WHAT IS THE RESOLUTION?
All the logos are in vector format, which means that they are resolution independent. They can be re-sized to any dimension with absolutely no loss of quality. They can also be edited line by line, curve by curve.
